About the Author

Daniel’s journey into psychotherapy began under extraordinary circumstances. Raised in a strict religious cult, his desire to become a psychotherapist was condemned as "the work of the Devil." Pressured into marriage to keep him within the faith, he pursued his studies in secret, taking exams and volunteering for challenging roles supporting survivors of domestic violence and working with male offenders.

A decade later, Daniel earned a Masters Degree from Goldsmiths College, University of London. His talent led to an invitation to supervise the course and join the clinical team at The Florence Nightingale Hospital. During this time, he authored Assertiveness Step by Step, later translated into five languages.

The book’s message was deeply personal, before its publication, Daniel left his arranged marriage and the religion of his upbringing, leading to his complete estrangement from his family. Amid this profound loss, he found love with Janet, a fellow therapist. They later built a thriving anxiety clinic in London and settled in the Peak District with their family.

Daniel’s career took an unexpected turn into storytelling, co-writing a West End musical about Elvis Presley in collaboration with award-winning director Rob Bettinson. This unique blend of psychology and narrative shaped his approach to writing.
His latest book marks the culmination of his personal and professional transformation - a powerful exploration of female empowerment, shaped by his lived experience and deep understanding of human resilience.

This book is a compelling testament to the strength, and wisdom of women. Drawing from profound insight and real-life stories, Daniel masterfully challenges outdated narratives and illuminates the path toward true female empowerment. His depth of understanding and powerful storytelling make this a must-read for those seeking both inspiration and change.
